The protagonist in the short story states, “It was quite wonderful to put together up a few apples, or collect those that had go to the end overnight, and patiently hold them, one by one, up to his large toothy mouth.” The turning point of the story occurs when other horse gallops into Blue’s life and was placed to live in the same five acres of land. The naked as a jaybird horse was depict to be dark-brown and although Blue was frightened at first, they curtly become friends.
